Plan For Easter Egg Hunting Now

With Pancake Day, aka Shrove Tuesday, behind us, Lent is underway and Easter is just over the horizon. And around the stately homes, gardens and parks of Britain that means easter egg hunts, face painting, quiz trails and lots and lots of chocolate eggs. (Let’s hope that Kraft Foods, the new owners of Cadbury’s keep up the tradition of providing thousands of creme eggs for hunts in parks around the country).
At Leeds Castle – surprisingly in Maidstone, Kent, not Leeds, Yorkshire – they have bonnet making and bunny burrows. Staff at Blenheim will be hiding trails of clues around the Marlborough Maze, the Butterfly house and the Pleasure Gardens.
