Giant Gingerbread Men March on London

A collection of giant antique gingerbread moulds – one measuring more than 6feet – will be on sale when the annual Kensington Art & Antiques Fair opens Thursday at Kensington Town Hall in London.
The carved, 19th century wooden molds, depicting Punch and Judy-type characters, belong to Kent antique dealers John Shepherd and Erna Hiscock, who will be among 45 specialist dealers at the fair, which runs until Sunday, January 10. All sorts of home furnishings, decorative objects and collectors’ items, ranging in asking price from £50 to £25,000, including a good showing of 20th century objects, will be offered at the Town Hall, from noon to 8 p.m. on Thursday and from 10:30 a.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Admission is £5.
